So, I'm sure you're familiar with the poster posted above. After viewing the trailer a while ago, I knew this movie was going to be at the top of my "to watch" list. I thoroughly enjoyed 300 so I just knew Immortals would be a safe bet. I saw it on 11-11-11 and all I have to say is WOW! You know you're watching a good movie when you don't want to get up to go to the restroom for fear of missing something. Dare I say it's one of the best I've seen this year? It was a beautifully shot movie with absolutely solid performances. Luke Evans, Freida Pinto, Mickey Rourke, and Henry Cavill were just stunning. Literally, the entire cast was perfect. Not a scene was wasted. John Hurt was amazing as always and it was great seeing Stephen Dorff on the big screen again. Kellan Lutz had a majorly kick-ass scene (heck, all the god-like peeps did) that gathered applause in the theatre. If you didn't believe in Gods and Goddesses before the movie, you will afterwards so go ahead and make your mom proud and watch Immortals.
